It is a very simple procedure that can be done three to seven days
before the wedding.

This is a surgery to repair a torn hymen due to intercourse or accidental tears.

HOW WILL THE PROCEDURE BE PERFORMED?
Hymen repair surgery involves suturing the remnants of the ruptured hymen
together along with a gelatin capsule containing a blood-like substance.
A small section of vaginal wall is dissected for the reconstruction when the hymenal remnants are insufficient. The procedure is considered very simple.
Your husband will be convinced of your virginity when the capsule bursts during intercourse.

ANESTHESIA
We perform this procedure Local anaesthesia and complementary sedation.
You will be asleep during the procedure and will awaken within minutes after
the surgery is completed. You will not be paralyzed or intubated during the
surgery. Please note that this is different at other facilities where the patient is
often awake during the surgical procedure. We feel that our patients are
more comfortable using this form of anesthesia.

SURGERY LENGTH
Between 1H00 and 1 H30

RECOVERY
You will have to rest for 24 hours, but you may walk around.
You may notice some minor blood loss during the first 48 or 72 hours.
You will be able to have sexual activity one month after the surgery.

PAIN
There is only minimal pain that is mostly gone by the second day and
easily controlled by medications.

REMOVAL OF THE STITCHES
The stitches don’t need to be removed, since an absorbable surgical thread is
used.

BRUISES AND SWELLING
The incidence of bruises and swelling is minimal.

SCARS
The resulting scars are very small; they become unnoticeable as time goes by.

   

LABIAPLASTY / Cosmetic Enhancement

Labiaplasty is a cosmetic genital surgical procedure that reduces the size or change the shape of the small lips on the outside of the vagina (the labia minora).
Many women are born with large or irregular labia. Others develop this condition after childbirth or with aging. The appearance of the enlarged labia can cause embarrassment with a sexual partner or loss of self esteem. Some women just want to look "prettier" like the women they see in magazines or in films.
Chronic labial irritation can sometimes develop in women who wear tight clothing. Discomfort can occur with sex, sports or other physical activities.
Labiaplasty can greatly enhance the cosmetic appearance of the outer vagina giving many women greater confidence and self esteem. Women whose labia become irritated and painful will often find relief after surgery.

However we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise for at least four weeks and
 possibly longer.

Sexual activity usual can resume four to six weeks after the surgery.

Will Labiaplasty Surgery Result In Decrease In Sensation?
For the vast majority of women the clitoris is the structure associated with
sensory pleasure, not the labia. As such you should not notice any loss
of pleasurable sensation after surgery.

Will Labiaplasty Alter The Skin Surrounding My Clitoris?
Usually this area is not altered during the surgery. Some women do have
excessive skin in this area and it can be trimmed to give a more pleasing and
natural appearance at the time of surgery. This can be discussed at the time
of consultation.

Will My Sexual Partner Notice A Difference After my Labiaplasty Surgery?
If the labia were interfering with intercourse, both of you will notice an
improvement. Visually, your partner should notice that your labia are now smaller
and better proportioned.

VAGINOPLASTY  / Vaginal Tightening

A vaginoplasty is a surgical procedure that tightens the vagina. This is done by removing excess vaginal lining and tightening the surrounding soft tissues and muscles.
During delivery of a baby the vagina and surrounding tissues and muscles become stretched. After delivery the vagina may return to a more "normal" size, but it often
fails to return to its' pre pregnancy diameter. Generally, the more vaginal deliveries, the worse the condition gets. Many women will complain of decreased sensation
and sexual satisfaction during intercourse. Commonly this is due to a lack of friction. Often their partner may notice a change although he may say nothing.

Vaginal tightening surgery will tighten the vagina and surrounding tissues yielding a vaginal tightness similar to before the patient had children.

We have also had numerous patients who feel loose although they have never had children. On physical exam they indeed had a vaginal diameter that was greater
than expected. Vaginoplasty surgery can help these women as well.

HOW WILL THE PROCEDURE BE PERFORMED?
The most common vaginoplasty technique performed on women in our

The ideal time for performing a labiaplasty, a hymenoplasty or a vaginoplasty
is immediately after menstruation. This way, when the next menstruation begins,
the tissues will be completely healed.
Remember to plan your trip to Bolivia accordingly.
If it is calculated that your next menstruation will start before the tissues will
be completely healed, it would not be so serious; the surgery may still be
performed, but you will probably feel more uncomfortable and the risks of
infection will be higher.
