HOW
TO
SCHEDULE YOUR
COSMETIC
& PLASTIC
SURGERY
TRIP?
Our priority is to provide
you integrated service from your arrival in Bolivia until your return flight home.
In this section we will inform you of the steps to schedule
your trip.
STAGE N°1:
INITIAL
CONTACT
To
provide you the best service, we require that you
fill out
all the stages of
the
Pre-Consultation
Form
; and you
send us this form accompanied
by good quality pictures, which will provide us the
necessary information; allowing our Health Care Professional to evaluate your case
and give you an exact and appropriate medical diagnosis,
and a quotation tailored to meet your needs.
Required
Photographs
Full-body pictures
(for body surgery):
Front, back and profile.
Facial pictures
(for face surgery):
Front and profile (both sides: right & left).
Only those applications
including the
photographs will be taken into consideration and studied by our Health
Care Professionals.
NOTE: All information received will be treated as strictly confidential.
STAGE N°
2:
TREATMENT
CONFIRMATION
Following
the receipt of your general enquiry form and close up photos, you will
be able to obtain an all inclusive quotation which includes the cost of
the procedures tailored to your needs and expectations as well as the
tariff of your chosen accommodation.
The
amount fixed by Makeover Travel on the first stage is your definitive
amount. With makeover Travel there is no hidden costs.
Your
quote includes:
- The costs of all the services you are requesting
(medical services and
Surgical Procedures / Stay in Clinic / Complete Hematology Tests Analysis
/
Surgeons fees, Anesthetist fees, and medical team fees / touch-ups /
tours...)
- Transportation
to the hotel / clinics / airport.
- Your
stay in a
5*****
hotel with breakfast included
plus all the hotel
services (Internet, gym, sauna, pool…).
- The discounts corresponding to each package.
Once you have
rewieved all the information and have decided to proceed, you can
schedule your trip with one of our
Patient Care Center advisors.
STAGE N°3:
SCHEDULING YOUR
TRIP
To
help you throughout the preparation of your trip, you will be assigned a
Patient Information Center advisor.
He/she will let you know about all the details and information
concerning your trip, your surgery and the medical team that will
perform your surgery.
He/she will be in charge of planning your medical trip, arrange all the appointments and make the reservations
with plastic surgeons, anesthetist, clinic, medical
laboratory, hotel...
If you have any questions, he/she
will answer all your
questions and address your concerns.
STAGE N°4:
THE
RESERVATION
After
you have decided the date of your departure, you will have to make your
reservation with your Patients Care Center advisor so that he/she
can arrange
a tentative trip date suitable to your needs, assign the personal
assistants and organize all transfer services.
He/she will also give you all the information concerning your surgery:
Information concerning the
clinic where your surgery will be performed,
your personal bilingual assistant, tourist package,
dental clinic…,
and make all the reservations and necessary appointments with: Hotel/
Clinic/ Laboratory/ Health Care Professional, etc.
How can I reserve my trip?
Make your reservation is very quick and easy,
we just need you send us by
email a copy of your travel arrangement
(purchase confirmation
of your flight ticket), with all the information concerning your flight
(date of arrival and departure, hour of arrival, Airline Company,
flight number, etc).
This
process will avoid you to make an international bank-to-bank transfer
and send money before your arrival.
We prefer you pay
your total package the day of your arrival at Santa Cruz or after your
first consultation with the medical team.
The payment:
We only accept American dollars, Euros, or traveller’s cheques (if you
don’t want to travel with cash).The Traveler’s
checks must include the document or purchase ticket given by your bank.
STAGE N°5:
SCHEDULING THE
TRIP
At
the latest within 3 days
following
receipt of the copy your flight ticket, your consultant will plan your
personalized trip and send the schedule to you with regards to all the
information concerning your surgery and your stay in Bolivia :
Dates
of the
pre-operative medical consultation and of the required medical test,
dates of your operation, hotel reservations, the personal bilingual
assistant's schedule, local transportation, lists of pre-operative
instructions, schedule of your tourist package, post-operative
information, scheduling for your Makeover with your assistant and
appointments with the beauty parlor…
STAGE N°6:
ARRIVAL AT
VIRU
VIRU

AIRPORT
(VVI),
SANTA CRUZ,
BOLIVIA
When you arrive at the airport,
one of our
personal assistants will welcome you. You will be taken to your hotel in
a private car and accompanied by your personal assistant.
Your assistant will speak your language, and he/she will answer all
your questions regarding your trip.
You will receive a portfolio which contains a detailed agenda of your
trip and detailed documentation regarding the procedures.
STAGE N°7:
PRE-OPERATIVE
CONSULTATIONS
Depending on the
hour of your arrival in Santa Cruz, you will attend the
first appointment with your surgeon and medical team weither it is on the same
day or the following day.
The medical studies
will be made the same day (complete hematology, and
if necessary, cardiology studies and x-rays).
Your personal assistant will accompany you at all times.
STAGE N°8:
SURGICAL
INTERVENTION
The surgical procedure(s) will be carried out one day after concluding
all the preparatory consultation.
The day of your
surgery, a Makeover Travel representative will
accompany you to the clinic and will be available to assist you with all
anything you need.
STAGE N°9:
POST-OPERATIVE AND
CONVALESCENCE
You
will recover following the doctor's instructions. The first few days
after surgery are the most important to get adequate rest. Usually, 2 to
4 post-surgical appointments will be necessary for the surgeon to check
your general condition and ensure that you are healing well.
During the first one, the
Health Care Professional examines the bandages and the patient's general
condition.
The stitches will be
removed during the final consultation (if applicable), and your surgeon will give his
authorization so that you may return to your country or origin.
After recovering, once the surgeon is pleased with your progress, you
will be given authorization to enjoy some of the interesting attractions
our city offers. We'll make all necessary arrangements for you to make
some travel excursion either within or outside the city, according to
the doctor's permission.
STAGE N°10:
THE
RETURN
TO
YOUR
COUNTRY
Your personal assistant will chauffeur you from the hotel to the airport
in order to fly back home and enjoy your new achievement.
Our commitment doesn't finish there. Makeover Travel will keep in touch
with you even after you have returned to your country.
